Terms of Service — Nanny Heroes

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Nanny Heroes platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Nanny Heroes is an online marketplace that connects families seeking caregiving services with independent caregiving professionals ("Providers"). We do not employ Providers directly. Nanny Heroes acts solely as a platform to facilitate connections between families and Providers.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Keep your password secure and confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Family Membership

Families may browse Provider profiles for free. To view full contact information and communicate directly with Providers, families must purchase a paid membership ($9.99/month or $79.99/year). Memberships are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

5. Provider Background Checks

Providers may register for free. To appear in search results and be discoverable by families, Providers must complete a background check through our partner Sterling Volunteers (one-time fee of $29.99). Nanny Heroes does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of background check results. Families are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without permission
Circumvent any payment or access controls

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NANNY HEROES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT ENDORSE, VERIFY, OR GUARANTEE ANY PROVIDER LISTED ON THE PLATFORM.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NANNY HEROES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
