Test Accounts

Create two pre-configured demo accounts to test the full platform flow — a paid family member and a background-checked nanny.

Step 1 — Create test accounts

This will upsert two accounts in the database. Safe to run multiple times — it resets passwords and flags each time.

What to test

Provider search

Log in as the family → go to /search → find Maria Gonzalez → click her profile → send a message.

Job listings

Log in as the nanny → go to /jobs → browse the job Sarah posted → use position and state filters.

Messaging

Send a message from the family to the nanny via the provider profile. Then log in as the nanny and check the Messages tab in the dashboard.

Dashboard — family

Log in as the family → dashboard shows paid member status, job listings tab, saved tab, and messages.

Dashboard — provider

Log in as the nanny → dashboard shows background check passed badge, profile editor, and messages.
